Happy New Year, Wendy! I started to think about all the things I fell short on this year (my typical mindset) but then I saw a suggestion for spending NYE alone (what I’m doing) to write down all your accomplishments and good experiences of the year so I’m going to do that. I started thinking about it and realized I had already forgotten about some things I would put on that list. So, I continue to work on being nice to myself and focusing on the positives.

That’s an important strategy, Claire. And instead of waiting for end of year, you might try doing a version at the end of every week.

When I get into bed at night, I try and do a quick review of what went right today.
