I think society is richer with a subset of people who look beyond the conventional set of “rules”. If we think about it, how many the people we admire (well known or not) are like everybody else? Asymtoting toward zero is my guess (and yes, I just made a verb out of a noun!)

Ha…well probably for as long as I can remember. But the “live wire” label I was given in the 1st grade sort of cemented the journey ahead.

How great to be a “live wire.” I skipped a couple of grades, so I was always a bit out of step from my peers. Younger, smaller and trying to catch up.
