It will be raining hard here all weekend, and apart from my running out for takeout, I’ll be sticking close to home. How about you?

Tula and I are going out to do errands this morning. Also stopping off at the pet store to get her one of her favorite biscuits 🙂
Picking a color at the paint store for the upstairs bathroom. I thought about going with a vibrant blue but as usual I am getting all wimpy and thinking some variation of good old white.
I hope you have a nice cozy weekend at home.

Vibrant blue in the bathroom. That’s a wow.
My building lost power on Saturday, so I made a mad dash to my friend’s house. So much for staying cozy at home.
FINALLY getting together with my Gang of Five (a group of intimate female friends) for our January “meeting”. The weather (read: snow and ice) had us cancel twice already and one weekend we were invited to a party, which put the kibosh on that day. Two of us travel farther distances.
And staying in today (after a good workout at the gym). I may venture to the library to return a not-very-good book and sign out one that hopefully is more engaging. And then coming home to roast a couple of turkey drumsticks.

When you paint, do you just go for it, or do a test first?
Wendy, I just dive right in 🙂 And I have to say I really enjoyed painting this time because I loved looking at the color.
It’s almost done, next is the experimental floor painting. Well they say you can paint old vinyl. And it certainly looks easier enough, so it’s worth a shot:)
I’m in awe… I make a mess out of painting my nails.
