Well, when I go out grocery shopping that is. I have also done so on walks and a bike ride, but I might dispense with it (certainly for the bike ride)–not sure how much it helps me or anybody else.

Hope the FPS community is well!

We’re mandated in Los Angeles to wear face coverings in stores now. I’d say about 80% of people wearing them all the time here. I’m going with it.

Governor Cuomo (NY) today ordered face coverings in public, with a three-day grace period for people to obtain. I’ve had masks on back order for weeks now, so on my (infrequent) trips to grocery store and pharmacy, I walk around with a bandanna tied around my face like a bandit from the old west!

I’ve also been wearing a bandana, waiting for masks to be delivered from Walmart. But today, I received a surprise gift from a dear friend of the most beautiful, hand-sewn mask. It’s very chic.

I am braced for masks to become fashion statements. Oh the pressure…. : )

I just got a good one (in the mail!) as a gift from a friend. It’s very artisanal, and a bit more fun to wear than the standard.

I too am waiting for a mask delivery, a friend of mine made several cotton ones for me to wear to and fro work. There are some fancy masks around town. I think my favorite has been those made from t-shirts, NO SEW!

The worst is at work, wearing a surgical procedure mask all day long. It’s hard to talk and listen to patients and co-workers.

I’m highly aware of how much I touch my face and dread seasonal allergy symptoms.

Stay well everyone, keep washing your hands and get plenty of rest.
        Cheers!
