I am sad. I think because he died in these times the loss feels even greater.
I cried when I heard the news. But John Lewis had such an amazing life and his legacy will live on and on….
I think that’s so true, Claire. It’s a time when we need great moral clarity and strength of character, and Lewis had both. Wendy, I cried when I heard too.
I don’t usually cry for public figures, but we need John Lewis. He pursued social justice with such love.
