And so much better than giving out unnecessary trinkets! A win-win for all: we feel good when we’ve been kind and we appreciate being on the receiving end of a kindness. Thank you to all who have let me in front of them at the grocery store over all my years!
One of my dear neighbors had to make an unexpected trip to the emergency room yesterday, and I got the opportunity to take care of his dog. My neighbor has a hard time asking for help, and he was so grateful.
