I wasn’t Mary Happy Sunshine about my romantic prospects when I was 29, but I wasn’t moaning about my “shriveling up ovaries” either because I have no interest in having kids.
I somehow remember women in my life freaking out about their prospects for marriage as they approached 30. Now that I just completed my 40th year the pressure is on to have children before it is too late. I didn’t feel the pressure to marry at 30 even though I was in a LTR at the time and I also don’t feel inclined to have kids at 40. Maybe that gene is missing in me but I love my life.
Ho.Lee.Crap.
I love this video because it feels so true! I hate this video because it feels so true!
So much fun. Even when it hurts.
Oh. My. God. Hits a little too close to home…. LOL!!!!
This really made me laugh….I might cry later, but right now I’m laughing. 😉
Thank God I’m 45…
Do mature, single, adult men ever wonder, “What’s wrong with me?”? (Serious question!)
The cultural pressure isn’t the same. But I’m sure they wonder.
That’s funny–sort of. If she’s screaming at 31, what kind of meltdown is she gonna have in her fifties? she asks, one who is turning 55 this summer…
I didn’t freak out when I was 31. But I can still relate.
I saw them perform this a few months ago and posted about it myself. Thanks for the video! Reposted on thebitterbabe.wordpress.com
Oh and here was my original post on it:

They must’ve been really fun live!
LMFAO.
I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this video!!! Thank you! I’m 51 so I can really laugh at this now. Not so much when I was their ages.
I hated being 29.
I loved being 30.
I’ll tell you how 31 went in 13 days when I turn 32!
I agree. 30 was WAY easier than 29. And so was 31, 32, 33, etc. It gets better. Happy Birthday in 13 days, Lauren.
I thought turning 30 was hell – I found my first gray hair on my 30th birthday.
But it was nothing compared to turning 40. It was like the warranty on my body had expired. And dating suddenly seemed so much harder.
Hahaha!! I needed that today…thanks!!
The funny thing is that I’m coming up on 31.

I love to hear that!
