And marriage would be – where? Wise female friends believe ‘cultural differences’ were significant in the breakup of my engagement beginning of this year. I am now supposed to look for a woman more like myself. Boring?
I was viewing this image more about creativity and life, than specifically about marriage.
I’m all for shared common interests in a relationship, whether or not you share a cultural background. I’m sure your “wise female friends” wouldn’t want you to be with someone who would bore you.
So true.
Look…my comment went through!
Technical problem solved!

Maybe I’d be the boring one.
All the best stuff in my life happened when I made myself step outside of my comfort zone. Career-wise, relationship-wise, health-wise, etc…
When it feels so uncomfortable at the time, it’s hard to recognize that it’s actually a good thing.
Maybe it’s just me.
But in my life it has been very hard to distinguish between my comfort zone and where the magic happens.
There is no one way to look at ANYTHING.
