Oscar, one of my favorite human beings ever! I wonder how old he was when he said this because marriage was good to him, while the lovers, not so much. It’s a cool clear day here in Ottawa, ON and I am going for a walk in the woods with my sister and her pug shortly. My single life starting at 55, now 58, is very good…I am appreciating just how good more each day. Yyur blog has been such a wealth of inspiration for me. Many deep-felt thanks.
