Awwhhh–my kitty is a black one, too! We celebrated National Cat Day one day late (that is, I let her outside for a treat–she’s an indoor cat, but every now and then I let her out as long as I’m there to shadow her).
That’s brave. It’s hard to herd cats.
I had never heard of National Cat Day until the meme for it appeared on my Facebook feed a few days ago. Alas, it was too late for me to celebrate the day with my beloved furry friend – he passed away just this past July from congenital heart disease complicated by kidney failure. He was 10 years old, and he had lived with me since he was about five weeks old. I enjoyed seeing the pictures of my friends with their furbabies on Facebook that day, though.
I miss my cat, too. She was a good cuddler.
I’m pretty sure my cat thinks every day is National Cat Day!
