ha! I heard this on NPR this morning. I don’t text and walk as I’m a klutz and I’ve fall flat on my face!

I can, however, walk and chew gum. 🙂

I can hardly walk and TALK on a cell phone – the noise outside (which is where I normally walk) is too distracting. Despite being a Gemini, I don’t multi-task very well.

How weird…I JUST was thinking this morning that this is one of my main pet peeves!!
I live in a pretty urban, congested area, with a ton of pedestrians…which I love. However, its getting to the point that I am legit worried that I’m going to hit someone crossing the street b/c people are looking down at the phone and haphazardly walking into an intersection. I really try to be as courteous as possible to pedestrians, as I’m one myself a lot of times, but how many times do I have to slam on my brakes b/c someone did not even look up to see oncoming traffic. I really worry about this, and its just going to get worst before better I’m afraid.

I wonder sometimes if this is a hopeless battle. But that’s why I was encouraged to see this design project come out of a University.
