Sometimes I catch a glimpse of my face in the mirror, and I’m scowling, and I don’t even know why. Then I actively force a smile to see if it changes the mood. And you know, it actually helps.
A lot of times when I am driving I notice how so many of the other drivers are scowling or looking unhappy etc. And I wonder how much of the time I look that way without knowing it, so it reminds me to try and smile more. Strangely enough, somehow smiling actually makes you feel happier too.

It’s hard to feel as bad when you’re smiling – especially if you put your eyes into it, too.
True. Unfortunately, today smiling seems wildly inappropriate. ..
It’s profound how much different a day makes. What happened in Paris is such a tragedy, and the implications are enormous.
I have also discovered that it’s impossible to feel crappy (or frown!) if you’re skipping!
I haven’t skipped in a long time. Sounds like I should try it.
