I will be reading, going to visit with a friend in a near-by village where I will roam around their property throwing sticks for their dog then sitting indoors by the fire (evening still chilly here) eating lovely food (we are going to make vegan pizzas) & drink red wine …
Anne, your evening by the fire sounds lovely. Where I live I may be getting snow tomorrow. I like to go to a nearby cafe just to get out have a change of scenery. I’m never really unplugged or off the grid but I’m okay with that. Probably the only time I am is if I’m at the movies or hiking. Have a great weekend.
I just went on a two hour bike ride to a nearby farmers market (one hour each way). It was great, I now have salmon and garlic-herb pasta and fresh cheeses to eat all weekend. I love the interaction at farmer’s markets, all of the vendors offer samples and you get to ask them about what they make. Also had an excellent cinnamon roll while at the market. Wasn’t technically ‘off the grid’ b/c I had my phone, but that was good too, texted a friend and talked to my mom.

What a divine plan. How did it all go?

My brother in New England just sent me a photo of his wintry backyard. Stay warm!
I’m not answering work emails ….. though the dog and the fireplace, pizza and wine sounds like a more proactive approach. Enjoy!!
Not answering work emails is a great way to unplug.

In what city or town is the Farmer’s Market?
