It was just a month or two ago that I saw the first scooter strewn across the sidewalk, and now they’re everywhere. I’m already annoyed by them. But then I speak to people who think they’re great. Are scooters infiltrating your neighborhood? And if so, what’s your take?

They’re not in my city (yet?) but I saw them this week on work travel to another city and they look like a headache!
It’s like invasion of the scooters, proliferating by the minute.
Hate them with a fiery passion. (It may be necessary to state that I tend to rely on my bike for transportation.) Scooters get on my nerves primarily because people who use them are fairly inconsiderate about traffic patterns, whether it’s trying to get around pedestrians or leaving the scooters in the middle of the walking/bike trail. Is it so much to ask that we all be aware of our surroundings, especially in public areas?
Yeah, that’s the part I don’t get – lack of consideration of public surroundings. Under my breath (and without evidence), I blame it on tourists.
