I remember a first date coming over to my house, seeing my cat, and heading for the hills. Allegedly it wasn’t me, it was allergies. As far as dogs, be nice to mine, or adios.

Wendy, I agree and if someone does not like Tula I assume they are evil.
Or too scared to be a good fit.
I have a dog and cat. I love them both but don’t expect others to love them as much as I do. Just be nice, like you said. One of the few issues I have with my boyfriend is our dogs. Total opposite in approach. If it’s this hard with dogs, how the heck do people combine HUMAN children?!
On the other hand, I do wonder if human children benefit from a variety of approaches.
