Clawing through the day

I don’t drink coffee in the morning, or otherwise, but I’ve been thinking about it lately. I could use the lift. My work as a career coach remains remarkably consistent from before the pandemic to now, and that work has always been remote, so the foundation of my week is unchanged. And yet, the days seem to blur together. Weekends aren’t very distinguishable. It all feels like a haze. Maybe caffeine would help.

I’m likewise not a coffee drinker, and have also been entertaining the idea lately. It’s somehow SO appealing, but I’d do decaf (i get too jittery otherwise). Maybe it’s the smell? The ritual? A simple something-new-to-start during this time of such strangeness? Please keep us posted on your coffee adventure

I’m not a great sleeper, which is why I usually stay clear of caffeine. But I like the idea of a new ritual in all this strangeness. So far, I haven’t gone there yet, but I’ll keep you posted.

Oh,BABY!Coffee is my starter fluid. I’ve been drinking it my entire adult life. It doesn’t hurt that the benefits of consuming caffeinated coffee helps prevent Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s Disease, Dementia, Breast Cancer, Type 2 Diabetes, and Depression, either, lol. 😉
